Fried Chicken Worcestershire Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Salt - divided |
2 1/2 lbs | 1135g / 40oz | Chicken - cut into 8 pieces |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Dry bread crumbs |
Combine Worcestershire with 1 teaspoon of the salt. Brush over chicken; let stand 1 hour. Mix flour, bread crumbs and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt. Dredge chicken in flour mixture. Fry in hot oil, 1/4 inch deep, until chicken is brown and tender, about 25 to 30 minutes.
