Donna German's Turkey Stuffing Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Celery - chopped |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onion - chopped |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter or margarine |
3 1/2 cups | 829ml | Cubed or crumbed bread - use |
Turkey stuffing bread - (recipe) | ||
3/4 cup | 177ml | Chicken or turkey broth |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Walnuts - (optional) |
Salt - to taste | ||
Pepper - to taste |
Saute celery and onion in the butter/margarine until soft; toss with bread in a bowl. Add warmed broth and season and mix until well blended. Stuff bird or bake in a covered casserole at 350 F. for 20 minutes.
