Curried Peanut Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Frying chickens - cut up (small) |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Oil |
Salt; or less - to taste | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Curry powder; or more - to taste |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - sliced (large) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Green pepper - cut into (large) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tomato - skinned and sliced (large) |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Crunchy peanut butter |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1. Brown the chicken pieces in the oil. Stir the salt and curry powder into the pan.
2. Add onion, pepper, and tomato. Cover and simmer five minutes. Add chick for doneness.
3. Remove chicken pieces to a dish, or over rice. Blend peanut butter with water and add to pan. Heat and reduce to thicken sauce.
