Crockpot Chicken/Sausage Cassoulet Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Frozen lima beans | |
1 cup | 237ml | Tomato juice |
1 | Carrot - 1/2 inch pcs | |
1 | Celery - 1/2"pcs | |
1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 | Garlic - minced | |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chicken bouillon granules |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried basil - crushed |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried oregano - crushed |
3 | Boneless chicken breasts | |
3 | Chicken drumsticks | |
8 oz | 227g | Smoked kielbasa |
Place carrots, limas, celery and onions on bottom of crockpot which has been sprayed with Pam.
Combine herbs, juice and bouillon and add to vegetables. Place chicken on top of vegetables.
Cut sausage into pieces. Put chicken and sausage on top of vegs Cover crockpot and cook on Low heat for 10 hours or on high for 5 hours.
Remove bay leaf before serving.
