Crispy Sesame Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/4 cups | 78g / 2.8oz | Cornflake crumbs |
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Sesame seeds |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Paprika |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |

1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
8 | Skinned chicken breast halves - (6-ounce) | |
Vegetable cooking spray | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Reduced-calorie margarine - melted |
Thyme sprigs - (optional) |
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large zip-top heavy-duty plastic bag; set aside.
Combine yogurt and honey in a shallow dish; stir well. Add chicken to yogurt mixture, turning to coat. Remove chicken from yogurt mixture; discard yogurt mixture. Add chicken to bag; seal bag, and shake to coat. Remove chicken from bag; place the chicken on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray, and drizzle melted margarine over chicken.
Bake at 400F for 45 minutes or until done. Yield: 8 servings (serving size: 1 chicken breast half).
