Creamy Onion Baked Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index

1/2 | Oleo - melted | |
1 | Chicken mushroom soup | |
1 | Drained whole onions - (2 c.) | |
1/2 | Soup can of water | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Evaporated milk |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Grated American cheese |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Sliced mushrooms |
1 | Paprika | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Lightly salt and pepper chicken. Lightly coat with flour. Arrange chicken pcs. in single layer with skins down in melted oleo in 13 x 9 x 2" baking pan. Bake uncovered in 425 F. oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over and continue to bake for about 15 to 20 minutes longer. Remove from oven.
Drain. Combine remaining ingredients, except paprika and bring to light boil.
Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika and cover with foil.
Return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes Serve with rice.
