Chicken With Mushroom Gravy

Recipe Ingredients

  Chicken legs or thighs
1/4 cup 59mlLemon juice
2 tablespoons 30mlOlive oil
1 teaspoon 5mlOregano
1 teaspoon 5mlBasil
1 teaspoon 5mlGarlic powder
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlPepper
  Mushroom Gravy
1 cup 237mlWater
1 tablespoon 15mlCornstarch
1   Mushroom gravy - (10-1/2 oz)
1   Mushroom - sliced(4 oz) drain
1 teaspoon 5mlOnion - minced
1 tablespoon 15mlParsley
1 teaspoon 5mlGarlic powder

Recipe Instructions

Place chicken in a roasting pan. In small bowl, combine lemon juice, oil & seasonings. Pour over chicken. Bake at 375 deg for 45 min ir until lightly browned. Turm chicken twice & baste occasionally.

Remove from oven. For the gravy, combine water & cornstarch in pan. Stir in remaining ingredients & bring to boil over med heat. Spoon over chicken. Cover loosely with foil./ Bake, basting frequently for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
