| Sauce | ||
| 1 oz | 28g | Cream cheese |
| 2 cups | 474ml | Whole milk |
| 1 | Lemon - juice of | |
| 1 1/2 fl ozs | 42ml | White wine |
| Salt and white pepper | ||
| Clams | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
| 1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onion; chopped |
| 40 | Fresh Manila clams |
SAUCE: Combine sauce ingredients in a blender. Reduce in a saucepan until slightly thickened.
CLAMS: Melt butter in a large saute pan or skillet.
Add onion and saute lightly. Add clams and saute until shells open fully. Add sauce to pan, heat through, and serve.
