1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Nutmeg |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Raisins |
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
This traditional Swedish pudding bakes into three luscious layers.
In medium saucepan, combine all rice mixture ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cook uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until creamy,
stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool slightly.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 8-inch square (1 1/2-quart)
baking dish. In large bowl, beat eggs; stir in remaining pudding
ingredients
and rice mixture. Pour into greased dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 55 to 60 minutes or until set. Serve warm or
cool. If desired, pour whipping cream over each serving.
