Roasted Potatoes and Garlic (5 PTS) Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Small new potatoes - washed and dried |
8 | Garlic - peeled (8 to 12) | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped fresh rosemary |
Salt and freshly ground pepper - to taste |
Make sure the potatoes are completely dry, In a large bowl combine
potatoes,
garlic, olive oil, and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper. Toss gently
to
thoroughly coat the potatoes and garlic with the oil and seasonings. Place
the mixture on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated 350° oven for 30 to
45 minutes, until the potatoes are lightly browned and tender. Shake the
baking sheet occasionally to turn the potatoes and assure uniform
browning.
