Low-Fat Mixed Citrus Eye-Opener W/Cucumber & Mint(1.5 PTS) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Fresh squeezed orange juice | |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice |
Juice of 1 lemon | ||
Juice and grated zest of 2 limes | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar - or to taste (2 to 3) |
1/4 | English cucumber - thinly sliced | |
1 | Mint leaves |
Combine the orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice and lime juice and
zest.
Mix sugar with a few tablespoons of hot water to dissolve it, then put it
in
a serving pitcher. Add the juice mixture, 1 cup of cold water, ice cubes
and
cucumber. Crush the mint in your hand and add to the pitcher. Serve right
away.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
