Chutney Sauce | ||
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey breast |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Crushed cracker crumbs |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Evaporated skim milk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely chopped green onions |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Curry powder (1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons) |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
**CHUTNEY SAUCE** | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely chopped chutney |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Curry powder |
Prepare Chutney Sauce. Heat oven to 400º. Mix remaining ingredients. Shape
into forty-eight 1-inch balls. Place in ungreased rectangular pan, 13 × 9
×
2 inches. Bake uncovered 10 to 15 minutes or until no longer pink in
center.
Serve hot with sauce.
CHUTNEY SAUCE:
Mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

NOTES : Chutney is a spicy condiment that contains fruit, vinegar, sugar

spices. You can substitute sweet-and-sour sauce for the chutney in this
recipe.
Microwave Directions: Prepare Chutney Sauce and meatballs as directed.
Place
24 meatballs in microwavable pie plate, 9 × 1 1/4 inches. Cover with waxed
paper and microwave on High 5 to 7 minutes, rearranging meatballs after 3
minutes, until no longer pink in center. Let stand covered 3 minutes;
drain.
Repeat with remaining meatballs.
