2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Fresh or frozen whole kernel corn |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped fresh thyme |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Beef stew meat |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bell pepper - chopped (small) |
2 | Beef broth | |
2 | Diced tomatoes with garlic - undrained | |
1 | Tomato sauce |
1. Mix all ingredients in 4 to 5 quart slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until vegetables and
barley are tender.
