1/2 cup | 118ml | White vinegar |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Water |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Vegetable oil |
1/4 cup | 82g / 2.9oz | Light corn syrup |
2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Grated Romano cheese |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry pectin* |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Egg substitute |
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Minced garlic |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried parsley flakes |
1 | Dried oregano | |
1 | Crushed red pepper flakes |
Combine all ingredients with an electric mixer on medium speed, a blender
on
low speed or in a food processor fitted with metal blade about 30 seconds.
Best if left to chill for at least an hour before serving.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
Per 1 tablespoon serving: 49 calories, 4 grams total fat, 65 percent
calories from fat, .45 gram protein, 4 grams carbohydrates, .02 gram total
fiber, 83
