4 oz | 113g | Ortega Diced Green-Chilies drained |
1/2 | Minced green onions | |
1/4 | Garlic powder with parsley | |
1 | Diced tomatoes | |
Vegetable oil - for frying |
Sprinkle tortillas lightly with water; wrap in plastic wrap and
microwave
on HIGH 30 seconds to soften. Leave in plastic until ready to use. In
large microwave-safe dish, combine chicken, taco spices &
seasoning, water, chilies, onion and garlic powder; blend well.
Cover and microwave on HIGH 5 ~ 6 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes. Place 2 tablespoons chicken mixture down center
of each warmed tortilla. Roll up tortillas tightly; secure with
toothpicks.
In deep large saucepan, heat oil to 375° E Fry rolled tortillas in oil
until
golden brown and crisp. Drain well on paper towels. Keep warm in
oven; remove toothpicks before serving.
