3 | Chopped, peeled and seeded tomatoes and/or 12 oz Hot-style vegetable juice coctail* | |
1 | Chopped seeded cucumber, yellow squash/ Zucchini | |
1 | Fully cooked ham, cubed | |
15 | Black beans or garbanzo beans rinsed and drained | |
2 | Italian salad dressing | |
Bottled hot pepper sauce (optional) | ||
Thinly sliced green onion | ||
1/2 | Chopped green or yellow sweet pepper |
~In a large mixing bowl combine tomatoes, juice, ham, beans, cucmber or
sqaush chopped pepper, green onion and dressing. Cover and chill for 2
to
24 hours. If desired serve with bottled hot pepper sauce. Makes 4 main
dish servings.
*Note: If you're not so hot about hot and spicy fooc, you can use
regular
vegetable juice cocktail, or even the reduced sodium version,.
