Barbecued Sweet Potatoes (1.5 PTS) Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Ketchup - plus 2 teaspoons |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Yellow mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly ground black pepper - to taste |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Sweet potatoes - pared, cut into 1/4" slices |
Prepare grill for a medium fire.
In small bowl, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, mustard and
pepper; mix well.
Brush potato slices on both sides with ketchup mixture. Grill, turning
frequently and brushing with remaining ketchup mixture until cooked
through, 4 minutes per side.
Divide among 4 plates. Serve warm.
