Asian-Spiced Pecans (3 PTS)

Serves: 2 people

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlLow-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlTomato paste
2 teaspoons 10mlThai seasoning (such as Spice Islands)
1 teaspoon 5mlButter or stick margarine - melted
1 pinch  Black pepper
1 pinch  Ground red pepper
4 cups 584g / 20ozPecan halves
  Cooking spray
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlSalt

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, and stir well with a whisk.

Add pecan halves; toss well. Spread mixture evenly onto a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes, stirring once. Remove from oven, and sprinkle with salt. Cool completely.
