1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Ground beef |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onions - chopped |
1 cup | 237ml | Tomato sauce |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Mozzarella cheese - shredded |
4 oz | 113g | Mushrooms - well drained |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Italian seasoning |
1/4 tablespoon | 3.8ml | Pepper |
2 | Eggs | |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Milk |
Brown beef in a skillet. Drain; add pizza sauce. Pour on bottom of large baking pan or a pizza pan. Cover with onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle with cheese.
Mix the remaining ingredients and pour batter over the cheese. Bake at 425F for 30-35 minutes, until a light golden crust forms.
Can make as CRAZY CRUST PIZZA: Mix all the batter ingredients and pour onto lightly greased, floured pizza pan. Tilt pan to completely cover bottom. Top with meat, onions and mushrooms.
Bake at 425F for 25-30 minutes. Drizzle with the sauce and sprinkle cheese over all. Bake another 10 minutes.
