2 teaspoons | 10ml | Basil - crushed |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Oregano - crushed |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Gramdma's chili seasoning |
1 | Lawry spaghetti sauce mix | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
2 | Tomato sauce - (15 oz) |
Hope you will like this sauce. I have made this for over 30 years and it is still our favorite.
Saute onions and garlic in olive oil. Add basil, oregano, Grandma's seasoning, spaghetti sauce mix, tomatoes sauce and water from rinsing the cans of sauce. Simmer 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally. This makes enough sauce for two 13-inch pizzas.
To top you can add your own favorites. We like just sliced olives, fresh sliced tomatoes and of course, lots of cheese. Hope you enjoy. Millie, Napa Valley Wine Country.
