Pastrami Pizza

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozMargarine or butter - (melted)
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDried basil - (crushed)
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlDried oregano - (crushed)
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlPepper
1   Loaf French bread (split lengthwise (16 inch)
1   Spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozChopped green pepper
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozChopped olives
2 tablespoons 30mlSliced green onion
1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7ozShredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozTomato (large)
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozGrated parmesan cheese
1 cup 237mlAlfalfa sprouts
  Pastrami

Recipe Instructions

Stir together melted margarine, basil, oregano, and pepper. Brush over cut sides of bread halves. Place bread, spread side up on a large baking sheet.

Top both loaf halves with pastrami slices. In small bowl, mix spaghetti sauce, peppers, olives and green onion. Spread over pastrami. Bake in a 400F oven for 15 minutes. Top with mozzarella cheese, tomato and parmesan cheese.

Return to oven. Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Top with alfalfa sprouts. Slice each loaf half into 8 pieces.
