Mushroom Pita Pizza - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Pita breads - (6 inch) | |
1 | Mushroom pieces - drained (4 oz.) | |
1 | Red onion - thinly sliced (small) | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped green bell pepper |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dried basil leaves |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Finely shredded mozzarella cheese |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grated parmesan cheese |
Heat oven to 425F
Split each pita bread around edges with knife to make 4 rounds. Place rounds cut side up, on ungreased cookie sheets. Arrange mushrooms on rounds. Top with onion and pepper.
Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Cut each round into 8 wedges. 8 servings.
