Festive Blueberry Pizza Coffeecake Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Cream cheese - softened |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1 | Egg beaten | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 | Loaf frozen bread dough - thawed | |
2 cups | 474ml | Blueberries (after draining well) |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Margarine |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Confectioner's sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vanilla |
Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Press bread dough in 14 inch pizza pan (I used a 12inch only because that's what I have).
Spread with cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with blueberries.
Mix flour with 1/2 cup sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over blueberries. Let rise 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375F Bake for 30 minutes.
Blend confectioners sugar with 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and milk. Drizzle over warm cake.
NOTE: We prefer it without the "drizzle" over as that just adds more sweetness, but you may want to try it (as we did) with and without to see which you prefer.
