Basic Pizza Dough - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Granulated sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Warm water |
1 | Active dry yeast | |
3 1/4 cups | 203g / 7.2oz | Bread flour - *note |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil - prefer extra-virgin |
*NOTE: semolina, or unbleached all-purpose flour (I like to use 1/2 bread 1/2 semolina)
What I like to do is make up the sauce the night before and set the timer to have the dough ready when I get home after work. Then it's a fairly quick and simple task to make the pizza for dinner.
