Barbecue Beef Focaccia-Style Pizza Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Lean ground beef |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Frozen corn - thaw |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Bbq sauce |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Green onions - slice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt - opt |
16 oz | 454g | Boboli bread shell |
OR pizza crust | ||
6 oz | 170g | Cheddar - shred |
Pepperocini peppers - opt |
Preheat oven to 425F.
In a large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef over med heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Pour off drippings. Stir in corn, Bbq sauce, green onions and salt. Heat through. Test for seasoning. Place bread shell on large ungreased baking sheet.
Spread beef mixture evenly over shell. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Cut into 6 wedges, garnish with pepperoncini, if desired.
