Shoney's Original Walnut Brownie Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Keebler Ready Crust Shortbread Pie Crust - (6 oz) | |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Margarine or butter softened |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Light brown sugar - (packed) |
2 | Eggs | |
6 | Semi-sweet chocolate - (1 oz ea) - melted | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Instant coffee granules |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Rum extract |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped Diamond walnuts |
Shoney's Hot Fudge - (see recipe) |
Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add chocolate, instant coffee and rum; mix well. Stir in flour and 1 cup chopped walnuts; pour into pie crust.
Bake for 25 minutes. Cool.
Chill 1 to 2 hours before serving. Top with Shoney's Hot Fudge, or whipped cream, or ice cream if you prefer. Refrigerate leftovers.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
