Outback Steakhouse's Sweet Potato Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Sweet potato (large) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Shortening |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Kosher salt - (to 3) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Softened butter |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Honey |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
Rub outside of potato with shortening and sprinkle with kosher salt. Bake the potato at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes (until soft).
Split the potato. Whip together butter and honey and put inside. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
