McDonald's Broccoli Cheese Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
12 cups | 2844ml | Dry milk powder |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chicken bouillon powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry minced onion |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
5 oz | 142g | Frozen chopped broccoli - cooked |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sour cream |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1 | Kraft Singles Cheddar cheese - cut into bits |
Into blender put first 6 ingredients. Blend on high until smooth. Pick out larger pieces of broccoli and put in blender, blend those until tiny bits. Put aside 3/4 cup cooking water from broccoli and discard rest of water.
Pour blender mixture into top of double boilier over simmering water, stirring until smooth and thickened. Stir in cooking water and broccoli, diced fine. Add remaining ingredients.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
