4 tablespoons | 60ml | Summer squash - sliced (medium) |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or maragarine |
1 | Corn - drained | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Onion - thinly sliced |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 | Pepper | |
1 | Chopped green chile | |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Grated cheddar cheese |
Saute' squash in butter until soft. Reduce heat and add corn, onions, salt, pepper and green chile. Mix well and add milk. Simmer until well blended. Add cheese and cover until cheese is melted.
