Lower East Side Lox Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Sour cream | 
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Lox or smoked salmon - cubed | 
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped fresh chives - or | 
| 4 teaspoons | 20ml | Dried chives | 
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | White pepper | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Heavy cream | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped onion | 
Beat the cream cheese to a smooth consistency and blend in the sour cream.
Mix in the lox thoroughly. Stir in all of the other ingredients. Cover and chill.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups of dip.
Suggested dippers: bagel chips, tomatoes, radishes, cucumber, green onions and figs.
