Hot Sausage-Bean Dip

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 lb	227g / 8oz	Tennessee pride country sausage
1		Pork and beans in tomato sauce
2 oz	56g	Sharp process American cheese - shredded
2 tablespoons	30ml	Ketchup
1/2 teaspoon	2.5ml	Prepared mustard
2		Tabasco sauce, or more to taste

Recipe Instructions

Cook sausage in a skillet until it loses its pink color; stir to break up sausage and drain off fat.

In a blender combine sausage with beans, shredded cheese, ketchup, mustard and Tabasco; blend until smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides. Return to skillet. Heat.

Serve with corn chips or assorted crackers.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
