Hot Sausage-Bean Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Tennessee pride country sausage |
1 | Pork and beans in tomato sauce | |
2 oz | 56g | Sharp process American cheese - shredded |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Ketchup |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Prepared mustard |
2 | Tabasco sauce, or more to taste |
Cook sausage in a skillet until it loses its pink color; stir to break up sausage and drain off fat.
In a blender combine sausage with beans, shredded cheese, ketchup, mustard and Tabasco; blend until smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides. Return to skillet. Heat.
Serve with corn chips or assorted crackers.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
