Guacamole - Bill's Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Ripe avocados | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lime or lemon juice |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Green taco sauce |
12 | Lawry's Seasoned salt |
Slice the avocados in half lengthwise and twist to remove the two halves.
Remove the pit by whacking it with a chef's knife and twisting. Peel the avocado or use a spoon to scoop the avocado into a galss bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork. Add the green taco sauce, the lime or lemon juice and the seasoned salt and mix with a fork.
Cover and refrigerate for no more than an hour or so before serving. Serve with tortilla chips or crudites.
Notes: I like the Haas avocados best, but the Fuerte or Bacon are good also. I use La Victoria brand green taco sauce.
