Texas Tears Chicken Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Texas tears habanero sauce* |
1 cup | 237ml | Italian dressing |
1 | Lime | |
1/2 | Cilantro - chopped | |
1 | Onion - sliced into (large) 1/4-inch rings |
* (or substitute any liquid hot pepper sauce)
Combine all of the ingredients, and pour the marinade over a cut-up chicken. Marinate the chicken overnight. Grill or broil the chicken and the onion rings, and serve them at once.
Sgt. Pepper's of Austin, Texas has created this easy, delicious marinade for chicken. If you are grilling outside, use a vegetable screen so the onion rings don't disappear through the grill.
