Homemade White Sauce Mix Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Instant dry milk - or |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Regular non-instant nonfat dry milk |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Unbleached flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter or margarine |
Combine dry milk, flour and salt; mix well. Cut in butter or margarine until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Put in a large airtight container; label with date and contents. Store in refrigerator. Use within about 2 months.
Makes 1 quart Homemade White Sauce Mix.
