Spicy Peanut Noodles Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Chinese flat wheat noodles - or linguine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tahini - or peanut butter |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Ground Szechuan red peppercorn |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced garlic |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Brown sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Chinese vinegar - or white vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dark sesame oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Crushed roasted peanuts |
Boil the noodles. Meanwhile, combine the tahini, Szechuan pepper, garlic, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
When the noodles are done, drain and toss them with the tahini mixture. Sprinkle the peanuts on top before serving.
