Shrimp With Sweet Red Pepper & Cucumber Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Shrimp - shelled & deveined |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Shrimp - shelled & deveined |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - sliced (medium) |
1 | Sweet red pepper - sliced | |
1 | Cucumber - pared and sliced ¥ | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
Salt | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Oil |
1. Wash and slice all ingredients, as needed.
2. Place oil in wok, add shrimp and onion, stir fry 2 or 3 minutes until shrimp turn white. Add sliced cucumber, soy sauce, sugar. Stir, cover wok, cook 3 minutes, lifting cover once to stir ingredients.
3. Lift cover up, add red pepper and salt, to taste. Cover wok. Cook everything 2 more minutes. Stir everything well.
NOTE: Chicken can be substituted for shrimp.
