Wild Rice Turkey Chili Recipe - Cooking Index

1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - chopped (medium) |
10 | Garlic - minced | |
2 cups | 474ml | Turkey - cooked, cubed |
2 cups | 320g / 11oz | Cooked wild rice |
1 | Ca great northern beans -- | |
Drained | ||
1 | Ca white corn | |
2 | Diced green chilies - 4oz | |
Each | ||
14 1/2 oz | 411g | Chicken broth |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cumin |
Hot pepper sauce to taste | ||
6 oz | 170g | Monterey Jack - shredded |
Heat oil in large pan over medium heat; add onion and garlic. Cook until tender.
Add turkey, rice, beans corn, chilies, broth and cumin. Cover and simmer over low heat to serving temperature.
Stir in hot pepper sauce. Serve with cheese.
