1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
1 | Red beans - 16 oz. | |
1 | Refried beans - 16 oz. | |
1 | Tomato sauce - 8 oz. | |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped hot red peppers |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Cayenne pepper |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chili powder |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Molasses |
Brown beef with onions in a Dutch oven; pour off fat.
Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
