Turkey Chili (No Beans) Recipe - Cooking Index
7 oz | 198g | Ground turkey |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Drained canned Italian tomatoes seeded/chopped |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Tomato sauce - and water |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Chili powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce & - white wine vinegar |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt and garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground cinnamon - ground allspice, &, crushed red |
Spray 3-quart saucepan with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat; add turkey and onion and, using back of a wooden spoon to crumble meat, cook, stirring occasionally, until turkey is browned, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.
Reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until chili is thick, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving.
