1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Hamburger - (1 to 2) |
2 | Enchilada sauce - mild, (15 oz) med, or hot | |
2 | Pinto beans - (15 oz) | |
2 | Green chiles - (4 oz) chopped | |
Chopped onions & grated cheddar cheese - for garnish |
Brown hamburger and drain. Add enchilada sauce, beans (with juice), and chiles.
Simmer slowly for at least 1/2 hour; 1-1/2 hours is much better.
Place in serving bowls; top with cheese and onions. Serve with tortillas, bread, or crackers.
