3 teaspoons | 15ml | Wesson oil |
4 1/2 tablespoons | 67ml | Ca chile powder |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Gebhardt chili powder |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Nm hot chile powder |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Chimayo chili powder |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Pasilla |
3 1/2 tablespoons | 52ml | Cumin |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Granulated garlic |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Onion powder |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco |
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Chuck cut in chunks |
1 | Beef broth | |
1 | Chicken broth | |
1 | Hunt's tomato sauce | |
1 | Green chiles chopped |
Brown meat and add to chili pot along with chicken and beef broth, tomato sauce and green chiles.
Add 2/3 of the spices. Cook for 2 hours. Add remaining spices.
Cook additional hour or until meat is tender.
Add salt to taste. Serve with Nabisco original Premium Saltine crackers.
