Skyline Chili Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground beef |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
12 oz | 340g | Tomato juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chili powder |
1 | Garlic - chopped | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Allspice |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 | Tomato sauce | |
1 | Bay leaves | |
12 oz | 340g | Water |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Red pepper |
1/3 tablespoon | 5ml | Salt |
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well after each addition. Simmer 2 hrs or til liquid is sufficiently reduced.
Serve over spaghetti. Top with chopped onions and grated Colby or Cheddar cheese.
Oyster crackers on side.
