1 | Onion - chopped (medium) | |
1 | Celery - chopped | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil |
4 cups | 640g / 22oz | Cooked - drained kidney beans |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Tomato sauce |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Molasses |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Basil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oregano |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | To 3 tb chili powder |
Saute onion and celery in oil until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
Serve or chill several hours and reheat to serve.
