1 | Pickled banana peppers | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Banana pepper juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped garlic |
1 | Bay leaf | |
2 oz | 56g | Chili powder |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cumin |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oregano |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Instant beef bullion |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Bbq sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Ketchup |
1 | Crushed red pepper | |
1 | Basil | |
1 | Thyme | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Tabasco |
Peppers should be mild banana peppers, seeded and chopped. Brown both the ground beef and beef cubes. Drain most of the fat. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
Simmer for 2 hours. Correct seasonings and simmer for 1 more hour.
