Crock Pot Chili Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Ground chuck |
1 | Tomatoes or tomato sauce | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cumin |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
Brown meat in skillet. Drain fat. Put in crock pot with other ingredients.
Add water just to cover meat. Cook on low for about 4 hours.
Stir in 1/4 cup cornmeal. Add gradually so it won't make lumps.
Cook about 10 more minutes.
*If you need to leave cooking as long as 8 hours, add a little more water.
