Recipe Ingredients

1 oz 28gOnion - chopped (large)
10   Garlic - chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlMargarine - reduced-calorie
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1 teaspoon 5mlWhole basil - dried
1 teaspoon 5mlChili powder
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlWhole oregano - dried
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlWhole thyme - dried
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlPepper
16 oz 454gTomatoes - undrained (1 cn)
  Chopped
8 oz 227gRed kidney beans - undrained

Recipe Instructions

Saute onion and garlic in margarine in a large saucepan until tender.

Add salt, basil, chili powder, oregaro, thyme, and pepper, stirring well.

Stir in tomatoes and beans.

Simmer, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
