| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Pure olive oil |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | President's choice chopped |
| Garlic in oil | ||
| 3 | Onions - chopped (medium) | |
| 2 | Red peppers - chopped | |
| 1 | Italian-style plum - (796ml) | |
| Tomatoes | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried oregano |
| 2 | Bay leaves | |
| 1 | Red kidney beans - (540ml) | |
| 1 | Extra-chunky - (850ml) | |
| Mild salsa picante |
Brown beef and drain excess fat.
In a large stew pot, heat olive oil and saute.
Cook at a low simmer for 1 hour.
Fifteen minutes before serving, remove bay
