1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground beef - browned and drained |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - diced (medium) |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Or 1/2 large green pepper diced (small) |
1 | Can diced tomatoes | |
1 | Can chili beans - (brooks hot chili beans are my favorite) | |
1 | Tomato paste | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Red wine |
1 | Chili seasoning mix | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chili powder |
Mix everything together in the crockpot and cook on low 6 or more hours.
This is really good with some cheese stirred in just before serving and a dab of sour cream on top.
