Best-Ever Chili

Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs 908g / 32ozGround beef - (lean)
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozChopped onion
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozChopped green pepper
1 cup 110g / 3.9ozSliced celery
2   Kidney beans - (15 oz.)
2   Tomatoes - cut up (16 oz.)
1   Tomato paste - (6 oz.)
2   Garlic - minced
1/2 tablespoon 7.5mlChili powder
2 teaspoons 10mlSalt

Recipe Instructions

In Dutch oven, cook beef, onion, green pepper and celery until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain kidney beans, reserving liquid. Add beans and remaining ingredients.

Cover; simmer 1-1 1/2 hours. If desired, stir in some reserved bean liquid.
