Zucchini Chocolate Cake - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
2 3/4 cups | 171g / 6oz | Flour |
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Cocoa |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Cooking oil |
1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vanilla |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Buttermilk |
2 cups | 474ml | Zucchini - grated |
6 oz | 170g | Chocolate chips |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Nuts - chopped |
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Beat together margarine, cooking oil and sugar. Add eggs vanilla buttermilk and zucchini. Add flour cocoa mixture.
Pour batter into greased 13" x 9" pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 325F for 50 55 minutes.
